Forged in the Field Photo Essay

I was fortunate to go out and photograph Utah Tech's ROTC Program during one of the many exercises that helped them get used to their weapons while also learning tactical movements. For this project, I wanted to focus on these recruits practicing their movements out in the middle of the training grounds. I also took inspiration from how the DOD takes pictures of their soldiers. I also put my own spin on the images when I worked with them in Lightroom. I wanted to capture what these recruits were going through during this training session.
