Hope4Utah PRSA Student of the year Competion
PR Student Contestant
I had the opportunity to compete in the Student of the Year competition by crafting a Campaign Plan Book for Hope4Utah. Despite facing the challenge of illness, specifically mono, I persevered and developed the plan book, marking my first time doing such an endeavor. I am proud to have delivered a high-quality submission despite the adversities encountered. Messaging Tactics & Research Impacts of Tourism on a gatway town: Springdale
Communication Strategist and Assistant Researcher
I was able to be a part of a group of 6 PR Students researching the impacts of tourism on the town of Springdale. In the first half of the year, I was in charge of doing benchmarking and scholarly research. During the second part of the year. I got to collaborate with the 5 other students to come up with messaging tactics that city leaders could use to communicate how tourism can benefit the Town of Springdale which included mock-ups of guides for visitors and a city guide infographic. We were able to present the findings of our research to the Town of Springdale and then present our messaging tactics to Springdale township leaders.
